The team will all be based at County Hall, Leicester or home working.

The priorities for the team between July and March will be:

• Provision of regular news and information (Angie Minton is the first point of contact for this) to museums
• An enquiry service  - signposting and information provision (Angie Minton is the first point of contact for this)
• Managing the 4 main museum development programmes: Fundraising and Board Succession Planning, Volunteer Development, Improving Collections Management and Improving Quality of Visitor Experience (Leics and Northants)
• Supporting key museum projects e.g. funding bids, museum sustainability and capacity building projects
• Heritage Awards (Leics and Rutland)
• Working with the county forums (not providing administrational support)
• Advocating the sector and the future of museum development support to Arts Council
