Networks

EMMS is the domain network for the East Midlands region, bringing together museums and heritage organisations - and their staff, volunteers and elected members.  We enjoy working with a range of partners, who between them have a wealth of experience, expertise and resources to share:

Skill sharing Networks - regional networks, each with a specific focus or area of common interest

County Museum/Heritage Fora - geographically-based in the five large counties of the region, and facilitated by the Museum Development Officers

Regional Domain Organisations - the domain bodies for libraries and archives, and important regional archives for oral history and the moving image

National bodies/Networks - as there are literally hundreds of these, we are signposting to some of the key organisations and resources, such as Collections Link (including Subject Specialist Networks) and The Museums Association
