Networks

This is a lively and informal support group for individuals working towards the AMA,and those who are signed up to CPD Plus, the Museums Association’s CPD programmes.  Meetings are held quarterly, in different venues around the region, hosted by members of the group.  Typically, each meeting will offer an opportunity for the hosting member(s) to present an element of their work or specialist interest and offer a guided tour of their museum to the rest of the group.  The day includes discussion on topical and/or ethical issues, and support for members on aspects of their CPD and preparing for professional review.

An Action Learning Set for those who have recently completed their AMAs and are working on the CPD Plus programme is held at the same time, sharing some of the programme at each meeting.  The network is funded by Renaissance East Midlands.
