GEM East Midlands
The Group for Education in Museums promotes education as a core function of museums and encourages the exchange of information, ideas, and research relating to museum education. GEM fosters the highest standards of education and promotes the role of museums in both formal and informal learning. GEM is open to anyone interested in advancing learning through museums and galleries. To find out more about GEM and membership, please visit http://www.gem.org.uk
GEM East Midlands has not held a regional meeting for some time. The main purpose of the meeting in March is to establish the way forward and also to provide a valuable opportunity to network and exchange news and ideas. Members will receive an invitation and agenda for the meeting nearer the date.
