Networks

The Federation supports the museum workforce to best serve audiences and collections across the East and West Midlands. Lively and affordable meetings are held five times a year to discuss and debate topical and relevant museum and gallery sector issues. Non-members are very welcome to attend meetings, which are open to all.

The meetings provide an information and ideas exchange for colleagues across the region, and an opportunity to hear specialists talk authoritatively on their area of expertise. In these days of tight budgets, the Federation offers great value-for-money training opportunities, specialist talks and collections-based seminars - all of which provide excellent, very affordable continuous professional development, and keeps you in touch with best practice in museums and galleries.
