Speak Up Fund for film-based projects
The Community Film Unit has opened applications to the Speak Up Fund to support voluntary organisations across England who have a film-based project that shows dedication towards their local communities. It will support between 20-50% of the costs.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a voluntary organisation (including registered charities, socialenterprises, Community Interest Companies).
- Work extensively with their local communities.
- Be based and working in England.
- Be able to spend the grant and complete the project by 31 March 2013.
Organisations should be working in one of the following areas:
- Support young people and/or vulnerable people in the local community.
- Preserve local history, and educates residents about their local area.
- Provide and document opportunities for the disabled.
- Develop the local community and integrate different groups.
- Provide information which improves the quality of life for residents
in their local community.
